Types of dental trauma:
Avulsion
Usually would be a permanent front tooth that gets knocked out completely from the socket with the root as well. This can happen in traumatic accidents. It is recommended to find the tooth and store it in milk. Then go to your dentist immediately within the hour. Sometimes the tooth can be placed back in the socket and heal into place.
Intrusion
Is a traumatic accident where the tooth becomes displaced farther into the bone. Recommended to go to your dentist as soon as possible. The tooth can potentially be saved.
Chipped/fractured teeth
If you have chipped teeth due to trauma, come over for a consultation to see what needs to be done. Sometimes some dental bonding and monitoring is all you need.
